Kate and Levi fell in love with Moosehead Lake while vacationing here in 2017. Levi had been coming to the area to snowmobile with friends for years. They decided they needed to see Moosehead in it’s summer glory and rented vacation homes in the area for a couple of years before purchasing a vacation home so they could enjoy more time in the area. This house was River Run.
When covid hit, Kate was teaching virtually and was able to teach from Rockwood. A beautiful property, with a house and two cabins, went up for sale. This was a property that Kate was interested in since the first year they started vacationing at Moosehead. Kate and Levi decided it was their perfect forever home and purchased Salmon Run in 2021.
Kate was a 7th and 8th grade science and technology teacher in Massachusetts. Since moving up to Maine, she has been managing Moosehead Bait and Tackle and Moosehead Sled.
Levi is an ASE certified master mechanic and brought his business from Massachusetts to Maine, opening a shop in Rockwood.
Both Kate and Levi love the outdoor activities that Moosehead has to offer, boating, swimming, ATVs, and snowmobiles, just to name a few. They are actively involved with the Blue Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club. Levi is the trail master and Kate is the membership chair and in charge of social media.
